can anyone help me out with the general studies assignment.. you know the comparisons of two articles?i kinda dont get it. and when is it due?this coming week?..... crap! xoxo
The draft is due on 29/3 and the finished product on 5/4, the instructions are in the year book, I am trying to work on the draft tonight but I'm about a 1000 words short, how can you elaborate on comparing ? I don't know if I'm doing it right either ?
sorry guys, i have been busy on the infection control assignment. I only just realized u posted some issues with this. I have not had a good look at this yet, but we should meet tomorrow (friday, preferably after lesson so i can eat on break lol) and work this out together.
After you have had your barinstorm together, if you are still unsure, bring your material to class on Monday, for those of you attending Hum Bio review and we can work it out together. However you guys are great at sorting out your issues to together. True collaborators !! My star pupils !!!!
The assignment information is on page 72 of the workbook and is also posted in the assignments section of General Studies on myuni (the file is Assign1GS2007.doc, its at the bottom of the page). Just to reaffirm what amy f said, the draft is due this coming Thursday (6 days away). So by then, just find the articles (they can all be found through the library site or basic pubmed searches), read through them (and go mad with the highlighter), come up with a plan, and start writing! The final copy is due the Thursday after. This is the day before Good Friday and our mid semester break (w00t). Just keep in mind that Infection Control and Radiography assignments are also due in the same week :). For further info on due dates, or to add a new one, go to BOH class calendar (and probably read the calendar thread

I'm also very blur.
1. What does it mean by 'review the material'? Do we have to write a summary of some sort first then only evaluate it?
2. Do we do it separately, as in one review & evaluation for each article or both together for comparison like amy F said?
